Please do not send us such information. If you voluntarily include such information in a message to us, we will use it only to respond to your request.

3. How We Collect Your Information

  • Directly from you — when you place an order, create an account, sign up for our newsletter or SMS messages, enter a promotion, write a review, complete a survey or contact customer service.
  • Automatically — when you browse the Site, through cookies, pixels, web beacons, log files and similar technologies (see Section 6).
  • From service providers and partners — such as payment processors (payment confirmation and fraud screening results), shipping carriers (delivery status), and advertising and analytics partners (audience and campaign performance information).
  • From social media — when you interact with our social media pages or sign in using a social network account, subject to that network's privacy settings.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide our Services and fulfil orders — processing payments, arranging shipping and delivery, sending order confirmations and shipping notifications, and handling returns, refunds, exchanges and warranty claims.
  • To manage your account — creating and maintaining your account and remembering your preferences and saved details.
  • To provide customer support — responding to your questions, requests and complaints and resolving issues with your order.
  • To prevent fraud and protect security — verifying transactions, screening orders for potential risk or fraud, preventing chargebacks and misuse, and protecting the security of the Site, our customers and our business.
  • To communicate with you — sending service messages, such as order updates, policy changes and responses to your enquiries.
  • For marketing and advertising — with your consent where required, sending newsletters, promotional emails and SMS messages, and showing you relevant advertisements on our Site and on other websites and platforms.
  • To improve and personalise the Site — analysing how visitors use the Site, testing new features, measuring the effectiveness of our marketing, and recommending products that may interest you.
  • To comply with legal obligations — including tax, accounting, consumer protection and record-keeping requirements, and responding to lawful requests from public authorities.
  • To establish, exercise or defend legal claims — including handling payment disputes and chargebacks.

We do not use your personal information to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Automated fraud screening tools may flag orders for manual review, but final decisions are made by a person.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to process your order, provide your account and deliver products and support you have requested.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, consumer protection and other legal requirements.
  • Legitimate interests — to prevent fraud, secure our Site, improve our products and Services, understand our customers, and send certain marketing to existing customers where permitted, provided our interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies, certain marketing communications and any other processing for which we ask your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used and deliver relevant advertising. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website.

TypePurpose

FunctionalRemember choices you make, such as your language, currency and region, to provide a more personalised experience.
Analytics and performanceHelp us understand how visitors interact with the Site, such as which pages are visited most and whether errors occur, so we can improve it. For example, we may use Google Analytics.
Advertising and marketingUsed by us and advertising partners (for example, Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest and Microsoft) to measure campaign performance and show you ads that are more relevant to your interests on other websites and apps.

Your choices. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies, and you can change your preferences at any time through our cookie banner or settings (where available). You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; however, if you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the Site, such as the cart and checkout, may not work properly. You can learn more about interest-based advertising and opt out at aboutads.info/choices, youronlinechoices.eu and Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only as described in this Privacy Policy and only to the extent necessary for the relevant purpose:

  • E-commerce platform — Shoplazza, which hosts our online store and processes data on our behalf.
  • Payment processors — such as card payment processors, PayPal and digital wallet providers, to process payments, prevent fraud and handle refunds and disputes.
  • Logistics partners — warehouses, fulfilment centres, shipping carriers and postal services, to pack, ship, track and deliver your orders and handle returns. They receive your name, shipping address, phone number and order contents.
  • Customs authorities — for international shipments, as required for customs declarations and clearance.
  • IT and business service providers — such as cloud hosting, email delivery, SMS, customer support, review, survey and fraud prevention providers.
  • Analytics and advertising partners — to help us understand Site usage and deliver and measure advertising, as described in Section 6.
  • Professional advisers — such as accountants, auditors, lawyers and insurers, where necessary for our business.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities — where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process or government request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our customers or others.
  • Business transfers — to a buyer, successor or other party in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of all or part of our business or assets, in which case your information will remain subject to protections consistent with this Privacy Policy.
  • With your consent — in any other situation where you have directed or agreed to the sharing.

Our service providers are contractually required to use your personal information only to provide services to us, to keep it confidential and secure, and not to use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising partners for targeted advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain US state laws; see Section 15 for how to opt out.

8. Payment Information

All payments made on the Site are processed by third-party payment service providers that are certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Your full card number, security code (CVV) and online banking credentials are entered directly into the secure payment environment of the payment provider and are encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS). We do not receive or store your full card details on our servers.

We receive limited payment information from our payment providers, such as the payment method, the last four digits of your card, the transaction amount and confirmation of whether the payment was successful, which we use to fulfil and manage your order, process refunds and respond to disputes. Payment providers may also use your information in accordance with their own privacy policies, for example to prevent fraud and comply with financial regulations.

9. Marketing Communications

With your consent, or where otherwise permitted by law (for example, to existing customers about similar products), we may send you marketing emails and, if you have separately opted in, SMS or other text messages about new products, special offers and promotions.

  • You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the opt-out link at the bottom of any email.
  • You can opt out of SMS marketing at any time by replying STOP to any message. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.
  • You can also contact us at [email protected] to update your marketing preferences.

Even if you opt out of marketing, we will still send you service messages relating to your orders and account, such as order confirmations, shipping updates and responses to your enquiries.

10. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, tax, accounting and reporting requirements. Typical retention periods are:

InformationRetention period
Order, payment and transaction recordsUp to 7 years from the date of the order, to meet tax, accounting and legal obligations
Account informationFor as long as your account is active, and deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after you ask us to close it, unless we must keep it longer by law
Customer support communicationsUp to 3 years after the issue is resolved
Marketing preferencesUntil you opt out or withdraw consent; we keep a record of your opt-out so we can respect it
Cookie and analytics dataAccording to the lifespan of each cookie, typically up to 24 months

When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it. Information may be retained for longer where needed to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements or comply with a legal obligation.

11. How We Protect Your Information

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect your personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access. These include:

  • encryption of data in transit across the Site using SSL/TLS (HTTPS);
  • PCI DSS compliant payment processing by our payment providers;
  • access controls that limit access to personal information to authorised staff and service providers who need it to perform their duties;
  • password protection, multi-factor authentication for administrative access where available, and regular security updates; and
  • confidentiality obligations for our staff and contractual data protection obligations for our service providers.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for using a secure device and network.

12. International Data Transfers

We operate internationally, and our service providers are located in various countries. Your personal information may therefore be transferred to, stored and processed in countries other than the one in which you live, including Hong Kong, mainland China, Singapore, the United States and countries in the European Union, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Where we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland to a country that has not been recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum), and take additional measures where necessary. You may contact us for more information about these safeguards.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know and access — to request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and to obtain a copy of it, together with information about how it is used and shared.
  • Right to correction — to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Right to deletion — to ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, where we must retain order records for tax purposes).
  • Right to data portability — to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have it transmitted to another organisation where technically feasible.
  • Right to restrict processing — to ask us to limit the use of your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Right to object — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to object at any time to direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time.
  • Right to opt out — of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, where applicable.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices or provide a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights.

How to exercise your rights. Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request", stating the right you wish to exercise and the email address associated with your orders or account. To protect your information, we will verify your identity before responding, for example by asking you to confirm details of a recent order. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf, in which case we may require proof of the agent's authority and verify your identity directly.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law, which is generally within 30 days (GDPR/UK GDPR, extendable in complex cases) or 45 days (CCPA/CPRA). There is no charge for making a request, unless your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. If we decline your request, we will explain why and, where applicable, tell you how to appeal our decision.

14. Additional Information for EEA and UK Residents

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, TEMQUVIRO INC is the controller of your personal information. In addition to the rights described above, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live, work or where an alleged infringement took place. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns before you approach a supervisory authority, so please contact us first.

15. Additional Information for US Residents

This section applies to residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and others). In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2, from the sources described in Section 3, for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 4, and we have disclosed them to the categories of recipients described in Section 7.

  • Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. We may share identifiers, device information and browsing information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural (targeted) advertising, which may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some state laws. You can opt out by emailing us at [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information", by adjusting your cookie preferences, or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser.
  • Sensitive personal information. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.
  • Minors. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
  • Appeals. If we deny your privacy request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your appeal, you may contact your state Attorney General.
  • Shine the Light. California residents may request information about the disclosure of their personal information to third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

16. Other Regions

Canada: you may access and correct your personal information and withdraw consent, subject to legal and contractual restrictions, and you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Australia: you may access and correct your personal information and complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). Hong Kong: you may request access to and correction of your personal data under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data. For all regions, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve your concern.

17. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. However, where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser.

18. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, or under 16 in the EEA and UK (or any higher age required by local law). Where a product is designed for children, it must be purchased by a parent or legal guardian. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it.

19. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, plug-ins and services, such as social media platforms, payment providers and carrier tracking pages. Clicking those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share information about you. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.

20. Data Breach Notification

We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected personal data breach. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority where we are legally required to do so, within the timeframes required by applicable law.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, the Services or applicable law. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice, such as a notice on the Site or an email, where required. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.

22. Contact Us and Complaints

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, wish to exercise your rights or want to make a complaint about how we handle your personal information, please contact us. We will investigate and respond to every complaint as quickly as possible.
